Wow! This is short but so powerful - what an introduction - totally had me hooked in - I too had noted, as I'm sure others did, the fish swimming about - and wondered if anyone would choose this idea, slightly odd pairing, with flight - and I love what you've done with it Susie! Yup, I love the lines - you need strong wings/ to fly with my crazy - that's such an empowering statement and a warning as well .... great job!

Something about this challenge has us all writing manifestoes. Your last stanza raps its knuckles on the infinite nature (and frustration) of our task, and the bewilderment it surely causes others.
