Into The Rainbow

Come out, come out, whoever you are….

He hears the song of no more closets,
but once a secret steps out into a rainbow
bigotry swoops to deface colors.

He doesn’t know if he’s brave enough
to open a door to sticks and stones
or ride a merry go round of spears.

Love shouldn’t have to wear armor to show affection.

Indeed.. love shouldn't have to wear armor. No one should live in a closet. Breaks my heart, the lack of acceptance and tolerance that some endure. We should all speak out against it.
