NaPoWriMo 2013 Day 25 ~ An Apple's Coffined Sleep

Jealousy didn’t like what a mirror spoke
and turned a poisoned apple in to coffined sleep.
Snow White’s tale of an evil queen,
seven dwarfs and a prince
proved love had the power
to reverse the sting of animus’s venom.

Snow White is my favourite fairy tale since childhood.
The challenge was really inspiring. You expressed your thoughts in a stunning way.

Haha! "animus venom"! Love is always the answer. I like this one a lot.
With the competently succinct [how I love this word] way you construed the first 2 lines, we could go straight from 'sleep' to 'love' and understand this.
Maybe the bright shiny image gives the game away:-)

Snow White is such a perennial favourite. I like the way you shifted the focus to the apple, the jealousy and brought the characters in later.

I agree with Aprille, that your first two lines are brilliantly synched and set up the focus of this Cliffs Notes on the power of love. Well done!!! and Viva la
