Questions the Gravel

Questions are the gravel
that lie beneath my feet.
Their crunch of indecision
making dust of my resolve.
I thought I knew which
direction I should take.
Now I stand at the crossroads
wishing life had a sign
in bold lettering stating
This Is The Way.

Kind of like a modern day interpretation of Frost. I like :)

I like the questioning in this piece of magically woven words. Of course Life doesn't have a big sign and even if it did It wouldn't tell anyone much other than where the nearest Macca's was or other irrelvant information.
The line "crunch of indecision" is that the hidden answer to asking someone out on a date? The answer truly lies with the next line "dust of my resolve" blantantly obvious the answer is NO to the date. Now that's the Christmas spirit!

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a huge sign pointing the right direction? Questions the Gravel is a thought- provoking poem. I read it several times, enjoying the imagery.

When you think about it, whichever way you go, it is the way. ;)
