Beauty of Wing and Flutter

I saw the beauty of wing and flutter
From flower to flower
A summer dance of the butterfly

Life lived as quickly as it can
Because soon the wings
Will cease their flight

So short is the earth’s visit
The butterfly cherishes
Each moment given of the sun
