outside my kitchen window

in a spring ballet

bold restless pacing

taps a staccato drum beat

across Tuesday’s brow

tiny warblers dressed

in lemon chiffon feathers

summon Rembrandts’ brush

This was a nice collection of sort of far-out thoughts. My favorite will be the lemon chiffon feathers. Lemon is my favorite in pies. Not feathers though, they make me itch.
