The color orange doesn’t look
good on him…He looks liver pumpkined.

For all his ruff there isn’t any substance.
Bully brag is a rucksack strapped to ears
tired of the chaffing wool of incessant dividing.

Be-trump Be-muse Be-little…

delightful! I enjoyed the way the words conjured up imagery or sensory textures while conveying meaning. "chaffing wool of incessant dividing" i could feel that itchy scratchy feeling of wool heavy with desire to get rid of it -- that worked really well with "incessant dividing" of betrump. also liked the ruff/substance juxtaposition; liver pumpkined.

This instantly reminded me of visiting a drummer I played with 15 years before on a visit back to Spokane. His first liver implant didn't take and he was waiting for his second. His head was swelled up like a pumpkin and his color was orange. Some jack-o-lantern: Booze and hepatitis was killing him. Doubt he lived much longer. The loudest drummer in the valley. Exquisite take here, Susie.
