Wild Rose

Wild Rose

Life places thorns
in the path of those
who dare to bud
in the drought of adversity.

Let your spirit become
a wild rose where impossible
is the perfect garden for blooming.

Sigh! This is absolutely incredible writing Susie :D Love the powerful wisdom in this piece. Especially the reference to "Life places thorns in the path of those who dare to bud in drought of adversity." We do tend to face obstacles when treading on the path of virtue.

Beautifully penned. Thank you so much for participating at Prompt Nights and for your constant love and support. Have a blessed week ahead :D :D

Lots of love,
Sanaa

I love the grit in "where impossible is the perfect garden for blooming". Some of us know that garden well. So inspiring, Susie!
This is wonderful - Printing out and sharing with my adult daughter who struggles with depression and anxiety. Thank you, Sue!

We have wild roses not far from us down by the river. Their persistence amazes me.

I agree with the other as regards my favourite image/thought in this majestic poem - if that is true then there is hope we can all bloom
