Telarum

I damn the prison song of fate,
a hateful melody spinning
me into a clock whose face
sees a tomorrow I can’t edit.

It is…It isn’t…
It will…It won’t…
It can…It can’t…

I dance in toe shoes
that can’t feel my heartbeat
or know the danger of tears.

Destiny is the handmaiden of hell.

Yes! I love how yo've mimicked the Ofortuna here but zip it up nicely with that ending line which is all your own. Nice work!

Wonderful, Susie. We are all caught up in the web of fate and time.

Forced to dance the steps Destiny plays out...haunting
You certainly captured the dark mood of that song – elegantly and eloquently..

There is a sense of puppetry and clockwork when one speaks of fate-- you've caught that so well. K.

This really shows a responsiveness to the music, very spontaneous and full of a direct honesty. I don't think editing could possibly improve it. You seem to create a clock with your words, ticking mercilessly--one that no slam against the ground, no blow, can stop.

This is the fate of dancers, to move to music they didn't compose.

You write of a cruel Destiny. She has a very kind sister. Might that sister be coming?
Her child rides the media waves and spell binds the concert goers. Has to be a good and kind mother.
