Button Push

Teeth grinding on
son of a bitch bones
I think surely my investment
in chapters will not see
my reason for bookmarks die.

Dear Author,

You knew which buttons to push.
I will thank you when the steam dissipates.

Your poem made me think of all of the arguments I've had in my mirror with characters from books. Very clever poem.

I often have "conversations" with authors - usually when they have p***ed me off!

Here here, or is it "hear, hear"? I can never remember. (One of the many things I can't remember any more. Sigh.)
Good work, Susie.
