Uncertainty's Palms

Three doors,
life’s game show
youth unprepared,
age too disillusioned,
nails pressed into
uncertainty’s palms.
Today grows
more impatient
as it asks
which one?

From unprepared to disillusion, and it all happens so fast! Good one, Susie!

I enjoyed this one too, SC. Interestingly, I originally saw the title as Uncertainty's Psalms.

I like this...just pick one, it doesn't matter which, as long as you decide instead of standing there

What a great poem, Susie! Youth is unprepared and age too disillusioned. Wow!

Sometimes life does seem like a game show for which one is never properly prepared! I like the analogy!
