Love So New

Our love so new
it has no footprints.
We stand in the
moment of its birth
not caring how
we got here.
Our souls intoxicated
with the dream
we will have
a tomorrow.

What blooms with fragrant hope, but the blessed petal of love?

Your poem beautifully conveys the preoccupation of the mind with the one you love and the state of "intoxication" that you experience. Well penned.
