Thoughts of a Child

silent reflection
what does innocence ponder
i pray it’s not pain

dreams wait at bedtime
she thinks about butterflies
and a girl with wings

is this the right door
alice ponders her escape
playing hide and seek

I can identify with this. A child ought to be left as a child and not have their innocence stolen.
Hits home to me for it's powerful imagery.

Susie, you have really brought life to the photos you chose! Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving.
Once again, beautiful work Susie- the second picture kinda freaked me out, looks just like one of my own childhood pictures! hahaha It was like I was looking into a mirror of my past (((hugs)))
What gorgeous kids/photos!

"Pray it's not pain" is a wonderful wish. Nicely done!
