Nuclear Bread

A world hungry for electricity
eats nuclear bread,
risking death from radioactive mold.
Mother Nature’s unexpected visit
to the bakeries
in the land of the rising sun
unveiled the horror that occurs
when the oven becomes too hot.
Her lesson plan was to teach humanity
it must learn to control its appetite
or die in the decay
of its mass consumption.

Such a sober piece that makes one think.

A very realisitic piece of writing, for a place in the world and its people, no longer front page news.

Ooooh, this one might just put me off bread. Fantastic writing and a seriously important topic.
