Hearing Disillusion While Sitting With Denial

The whisper of disillusion haunts me
In wraith visitation it comes
Speaking you should not trust in my ear

Denial has a seat next to me
A companion who tells me
Don’t believe what you hear

In turmoil I try to quiet both
Their voices warring in my head
I wish to just run away
