Rub a dub dub
a woman sought escape in her tub.
She soaked in an ocean of bubbles
reflecting on a list of her troubles.
At the top of the list was a man
who stole al l her money and ran.
She couldn’t believe she was so smitten
that in the end she would be bitten
by a slithering snake in the grass
who was nothing but a lying ass.
It was a hard lesson to learn
she didn’t have money to burn,
but the bubbles did their magic
she realized her life was not that tragic.
The stupid man had left the keys to his car
she knew that he couldn’t get far.
Rub a dub dub
the woman smiles in her tub
at the idiot’s lack of brain
as she stuffs his keys down the drain.
