One perspective would say that Saturday night's neon must become Sunday morning's stained glass (nice image there) -- a metaphor for growing up -- but the counterintuitive one is that growing down into the deeper majesties is the point of aging. There the big night music of youth becomes a grander work, perhaps the one we have the rest of our lives to compose. The churchly metaphors of redemption and falling and condemnation only work from the outsides of the dance. Just groovin' here to a nice poem, good work, Brendan Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3174947457823680382.post-87070503643130921632013-12-02T03:24:22.353-06:002013-12-02T03:24:22.353-06:00Quit enjoyed this and some beautiful metaphors :)Quit enjoyed this and some beautiful metaphors :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17957913294364310380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3174947457823680382.post-49560506195316160602013-12-02T02:19:19.855-06:002013-12-02T02:19:19.855-06:00As ever beautiful wordsAs ever beautiful wordsBilly Blue Eyeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12053172567806569702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3174947457823680382.post-84068238196916886692013-12-02T02:05:41.202-06:002013-12-02T02:05:41.202-06:00sometimes feeling guilty takes too muchsometimes feeling guilty takes too muchVandana Sharmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270400982093787158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3174947457823680382.post-48006566974777216882013-12-02T01:48:53.143-06:002013-12-02T01:48:53.143-06:00soooo lovely and beautiful.. to fall into someones...soooo lovely and beautiful.. to fall into someones eyes.. and the disappointment years later, when you miss what once was.Natašekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07529563989376279044noreply@blogger.com
