Pictures of a Silver Lining

A Beautiful face,
a theater of eyes
and smiles, captures
my heart with
its animation.

When anxious days
cloud with shrouds
of dismay, I dance
among images of light
pressed between
glass and frame.

She is my child, a gift
filled with bursts of laughter,
a tigeress with comedic timing,
arms that hug away the hell
riffling through my spirit.

A beautiful face, a theater of eyes
and smiles, erasing pain until
I can feel the silver lining.

I'm glad you have her, Susie. A nice "Thank You" from you, posted here. She will appreciate your gratitude. After getting home from three weeks of travel we are back to preparing for our move to be close to our youngest daughter. It will be a mutual help sort of thing.

To have this means so much, even if like all things in life, its meaning only shows the clearest when we are so afraid of losing it. Hugs to you and your love, your daughter, and your brave hearts that dance on the light that clouds can't hide, only refract.
