Weeds Into Whimsy

Silent tufts seed the wind
where sky and cloud
sort weeds into whimsy.

Floating as far as dreams
they seek a resting place
to defy impossible.

Soon yellow dandelions will
polka dot earth urging little hands
to tuck love into a bouquet.

This is very, very touching. And yes, how those little hands find those dandelions....and don't they make a glorious bouquet?

Loved your words here and the dreamy feel of the poem. And a weed bouquet is precious, like you last stanza.

All those wishes made into nothing more than a simple child's bouquet.

What wonderful word images in this lovely, gossamer-like poem. I love the image of dandelions polka-dotting the meadows.
