Last Words

My last words….

I saw a miracle born
from the womb of war,
desperate hands rescuing
a child from the dust of anger.

I heard a baby cry for peace.

Phew! Susie, your message carries the most weight of all those I have read.

Congratulations on your amazing achievement of 30 poems in 30 days. I so enjoyed the opportunity to read your work each day.

Short and telling, Susie. Both are heart wrenching for those WITH a heart.
Congratulations on your NaPoWriMo ~ Day 30. What now? You won't rest, I know.
We have been in Branson, MO, all week (home now, tonight) doing tourist things. Finding time to write was hard, I didn't get all comments returned yet.
And todays, I thought about it all morning and afternoon, then before dinner I wrote my daytime musings in 20 minutes and posted. Not super (most never are), but it fit the prompt.

Babies... that news item was incredible. I heard yesterday that a teenager was somehow pulled out. Wow.
Keep singing, Susie! xo
