blogblast4peace ~ November 4, 2013

Today Kerry O’Conner has asked us to take part in a special day for bloggers around the world. November 4 marks the annual Blogblast 4 Peace. This initiative was launched by Mimi Lenox in 2006 and has grown to an extraordinary degree, spanning 6 continents and 182 countries. Her theme this year is "What do I want my world to look like?" and she invites bloggers to join together today to spread the message of peace as a single unified gesture.

Well said!

Nice picture in poem today, Susie. I like the theme and I am participating.

Do you think this will make us "Peace Children" again? I loved those 60's and 70's days. My highlight was San Franscisco for a month (I left my motorcycle in Houston).

Simple, yet all-encompassing, and deeply true. Lovely work, Susie.

Yes, it will. But who will let people know what the breast of war looks like? All those masks ...

OMG. The best statement of how peace can be attained that I have ever read.

I'm looking forward to receiving your "patch" Susie… remember, you don't have to think… just write from your heart.
"...fed from the breast of war." Damn, Susie, you are so right. Our whole economy, don't get me started... but for our kids, the constant barrage of video and assault weapons reports and their general hopelessness... I pray always for our youth. May they figure out what we have failed to do thusfar. Peace, Amy
