"I am hearing poetry when awake,
dreaming poetry when asleep,
breathing poetry with each breath,
I am living in a poem."
Perfect imagery, Susie. :)The first one gave me an eerie feeling. Kind of. :D
Especially like the first. Like how you turn the idea of the natural world on its head.
Loved both your takes Susie, man is the scariest wild animal of all. We city-folk seek solace in neon sky and air scented with vehicular exhaust...
I like both...#1 is awesome with the humans prowling. Peace,Siggi
Pretty haiku, Susie.
I like the rawness of the first and the second is beautiful! Upside/downside of city life. Love it ♥
I prowl these concrete mountains in the neon sky :-)Great work.
Humans prowl the night. This is so apt. beautifully expressed.
I could see the lights glittering..nice haiku...Mine is here:http://rameshsood.blogspot.in/2013/08/shadow-of-high-rise-haiku.htmlRS
Both are beautifully done. The first one is such a brilliant take
Love the Haiku Susie. You always bring out the imagery so well. awesome as usual. hugs, xo
I love how you have give two different outlooks to it...
Like the second one..magic in faux plastic1
Both well done and the second one has actually something nice to say about the urban land!! :-)
love the contrasting dark and bright images.
wow...well thought of...animals and humans..nwadays have no difference:)
Susie, Wonderful haiku! The first one seems like we're in some kind of zoo or jungle full of humans. Though a little scary, I like it. And the second seems nicer, more pleasant... :)
