Creative Insomnia #WWUC @NWCreativeUnion

The moon melts.
The stars wink.
The clock ticks.

Ink stained fingers
travel from pen to keyboard.

Scribbles are transcribed
in a cursor’s chase
on white light.

A poet’s night is
as long as her muse’s
dance among the alphabet.

This is exactly right: "as long as her muse’s dance among the alphabet."

Fine poetry.

very cool Susie. So perfectly penned, really capturing that essence here. The J. B. accompaniment was a nice treat as well. Thanks

Lovely and lilting--it is dancing through my head along with visions of sugar plums--
i am also creative at night--it is called "dreaming"

Simple, yet on target. You've captured the experience well. Nicely done.

Appreciate the addition of James Brown! Wonderful.
