Changing Brushes

Changing Brushes

The beauty
of a woman’s face
has been painted
with the changing
brushes of history.
The only constant
is the mystery
peering through
feminine eyes.

Poets write about it, artists paint it. We don't know much of it, precisely Susie!

Women's face is adorable. We men don't have enough of it. Beautiful write!

Love this tribute to the female form in art - both still art and even in reality! But the eyes...aah...Mona Lisa knows!

I had seen this beautiful film before, but this spare two-sentence poem, laid out like the slides, added depth to it.

I love it. "The only constant is the mystery." Keep 'em guessing!

Yes indeed. Nicely penned, Susie. You've told a long tale with few words. I like it like that!

Your poem is the perfect accompaniment to this fascinating video, Susie.
I have a brother in the animation industry and I'm going to send him a link to this post.

How philosophical,Susie! Woman's face rather than woman's anatomy is the gentle, sensuous and the most mysterious part of all. A clever twist to female beauty, Ma'am!

It is interesting really that standards of beauty for women have changed through the centuries. But, yes, the mystery is a constant!

Excellent--yes as to the mystery that remains unchanged!

so true.
i'm always so amazed at those morphing videos.
how they show the difference that melt away and the constants around which all the rest revolves.

thanks for this!
