Childhood in Haiku

imagination
takes steps without any fear
it is called childhood

- 0 -

when it rains daisies
she carries her umbrella
the petals tickle

- 0-

fairies have their wings
to fly wherever they dream
a flight of wonder

perfect. that first one.

it was in childhood I first started to take this writer's journey, and imagination did play a very major part in that.

thanks for this, Suzi...

Thanks Leo. My imagination seems to grow with each of my writings.

Imagination and fairies - a great combination.

These were quite precious and sweet. The second one, with the daisies, was my favorite. :)

Your haiku are always beautiful. Wish I could write them like you do.

all are lovely, reminders of a carefree childhood, but the middle one especially tickled my fancy - raining daisies :)

If it rained daisies, I would go without an umbrella!

Such lovely haiku. I liked each of them. I think the first is my favorite, though.
