The Haiku Challenge Day # 9 ~ Padlocked

freedom is padlocked
to government’s rhetoric
liberty suffers

-------------------------------------------

incarceration
rusty locks on chain link dreams
escape seared by doubt

-------------------------------------------

rainbow fastenings
expectant heart bound to hope
expression of faith

What a wonderful series of haiku Susie. Great job on today's theme. I love them all three, but the third I love the most.
Wonderfully crafted.
