The Haiku Challenge Day #17 ~ And She Waits

market still asleep
a mother hoping for food
starvation too near

if patience was coins
she would be very wealthy
stoically she waits

a tourist snapshot
nothing but a souvenir
poverty ignored

Perfect response to the prompt!
