Discord

anger tossed ranting
boomerangs through static air
words return to wound

discord paints
with
chaotic brush

Ouch. Nothing hurts more than words said in anger. I don't like the pic either.
This hits home!

Angry words would make this a messy painting ~

there is a lot of discord here.
elegant imagery, lovely words.

You are tight with your comment on my post. This is rather sad but nicely penned though. I have thought of something scarry and sad too at first but I opted to make it fun instead...

There is much unhappiness in your poem. Painfully well expressed. Thank you for sharing.

I saw this painting as chaotic as well. A great haiku.

I love the last stanza, so very true. Discord does paint with a chaotic brush.

You certainly ‘saw red’ in this. I could feel the rage bubbling through!

Oh I love it. I looked at this picture for quite some time and checked away mine as rubbish. You have captured it.

Perfect! I also felt the picture was very chaotic.

Love how many Magpie poems focused on the 'boomerang' interpretation .. I did too as I couldn't see anything else. In the eye of the beholder as they say.

Finally got through - I've tried to get to your Mags this year and failed - either couldn't get your post to open at all, or couldn't get your blog to open ... your poem sums up my frustration perfectly!

Best wishes Isabel
