to see as a child
remove the jaded glasses
life would have you wear
- 0 -
imagination
looks at ordinary things
with a child’s wonder
- 0 -
a child’s wide eyed dreams
are filled with impossible
doubt doesn’t blind them

Enjoyed them all but the middle one is so true. To lose that wonder is terrible.
oo haiku my heart, indeed ;)
allow me a lump in my throat because of your third one - that photo, and the lines you wrote, are beyond wonderful!
These are beautiful Ms. Clavenger. The photos and the words. My Grandchildren live in my home with me. I stare at them and listen, watch them play. I join them and we talk about so many things. They have stories too, not just the old teaching the young, but the other way around if we let them. All we need do is to watch and listen. Very cool!
Peace
