Mistakes Haunt

moonlight dreams
scurry on cloud wings
across midnight sky.

the trees outside
framed windows
eerily silent.

mistakes haunt
a restless mind,
their claws tearing serenity.

a question unanswered
tumbles from numb lips,
can I be forgiven?

shadows deepen,
regret enshrouds,
tomorrow she will know.

Ive wondered myself the same thing... can I be forgiven? And I still dont know the answer...

Blessings and congrats on your award!
i wish the world ends tonite . . . That tomorrow May never come :(
wouldn it be better if we started thinking 'will i be forgiven' BEFORE doing something . . . rather than 'can i be forgiven' AFTER doin it. . .
But then again . . The fear of not being forgiven might hold us back from doing things that might be IMPORTANT, even if apparently wrong.
