Pretty lady your mom!... but sad the affliction!! Must have had a smart, active and energetic lifestyle.

Our sorrow never ends nor our need for our mothers. Her beauty still shines through you and your sisters and the memories within your heart.

What a great haiku.
So poignant.

Oh this is very touching, both photo and haiku. I love that she lived and hopefully found comfort in her yesterdays, and I know the weariness of family watching their loved one disappear. So touching.

This is very beautiful. It's very hard to watch a loved one not remember because you've lost them in a certain respect.

I think Alzheimer's is one of the worst possible afflictions. It steals your loved ones right in front of you - and I cannot imagine what it is like from their side of the eyes.
