Water Travelers in Eternal Swim

Ghosts lie on the bottom of the sea,
water travelers in eternal swim.
Fear echoes in the deep.

Magnificent timbers felled
by Mother Nature’s wind
now barnacled skeletons.

A commander’s belief he could
have command over the gale
plunged his vessel into the sea.

A crew of dead sailors wanders the drink
searching for their captain
who left them in the coffin of his shipwreck..
