Complaining Pox

A day darkened
With frowns
Displeasure’s
Face appearing
At every turn

Negative an
Epidemic
Infecting
Humanity
With its
Complaining pox

Optimism
Flies on
Fledgling
Wings
Attempting
To obtain
Distance
From
Pessimism’s
Nest

The antidote
To a frown
Is a smile
A self
Administered
Vaccination
Of positive
To reverse
The effects
Of dour
